Exercise and Movement

I’m a fan and student of movement.

As a child I watched martial arts movies on Saturday mornings. From childhood through high school I played organized sports, including:

  • Wrestling
  • Basketball
  • Ultimate Frisbee
  • Track and Field
  • Baseball
  • Swimming
  • Volleyball

As an adult I began stretching and practicing tai chi. I still love riding my bicycle and elevating my heart rate in the pool, although I’m always looking for new, simpler, more fun, more beneficial ways to exercise to keep me healthy, tone, strong, and flexible.

I’m currently researching simple rebounders (also known as mini-trampolines), as well as advanced models like the Cellerciser.

This year (2019), I commit to learning and practicing basic parkour, as the flexibility and strength of parkour practitioners continues to impress me.
